Winter in the Rockies is unlike anything else. The peaks are sharper, the silence is deeper, and the light is golden for about fifteen perfect minutes each afternoon. We run three winter programs that take advantage of this magic, each suited to a different experience level.
The Day Tour is perfect for first-timers — a half-day on snowshoes through old-growth forest with a hot lunch in a backcountry warming hut. No experience needed, just warm clothes and a sense of adventure.
The Hut-to-Hut is a three-day intermediate trek connecting two backcountry huts via a high alpine pass. You'll learn avalanche basics, kick steps in firm snow, and watch the sunrise from 2,400 metres of elevation.
The Alpine Ascent is our flagship technical program — a five-day expedition culminating in a guided summit of a 3,000-metre peak. Crampons, ice axes, rope teams, and seven course meals at base camp. Limited to four climbers per guide.
All gear, food, and transportation included. Trips run Dec 15 through April 30.
